All buildings require electrical wiring to be of use to us. As an electrician, you can work in the construction field; planning and laying out the wiring and plug points. Qualified electricians are also responsible for issuing electrical certificates certifying that the building or home is safe and complies to building regulations. What Qualifications do Electricians Need in South Africa?
  • Passed and acquired N1-N3 Certificates
  • Wireman’s Licence
  • pass the SANS 10142-1 national exam
  • Register as a qualified electrician
